Team Pingu Joanne Sharratt
Team Season Preview[/u]
With their slightly fanatical owner, Joanne Sharratt, Team Pingu line up on the grid with high hopes for the season. Although they may not have set any blisteringly quick times in testing, they proved to be solid top 10 contenders at most tracks. With this pace, a good haul of points should be had at most rounds provided reliability issues dont kick in. Another factor that could play a role is that Hawn was consistently outperformed by Gones in testing and it is believed his place is under scrutiny within the team.
Mid Season Report[/u]
It couldn't be any better for Team Pingu as the winter break approaches as they lead the team standings by 5 points from direct rivals, Lisa F1. Also their lead driver, Brandon Hawn, is in solid contention for the driver's title too. The American driver has been in the points more than any other driver so far this season and it shows on his record, proving to be a very consistent but also a fast driver, with his win in Germany as proof. Gones isn't to be overlooked either, as some unlucky failures have robbed him of sure points. As it stands though, the 'Penguin Mechanics' have been working hard and further developed the car for the remaining races...but will it be good enough or will have complacency set in?
* Replaced B.Hawn in America.
