Whizzbanger Amy Whittle
Team Season Preview[/u]
'Whizzbanger' have definitely been the standout team from testing, setting a fastest time and being consistent throughout. What was originally considered to be a pretty engine heavy setup has proved to be quite a versatile one meaning that good results are still possible even at the twistier tracks. Michael Bliss and Luigi Concini have also appeared to be very closely matched on pace, regularly setting similar times to each other. All in all, things are looking promising before the start of the season for Amy Whittle's team.
Mid Season Report[/u]
At the halfway stage, things aren't looking too good for Whizzbanger. Testing proved the car was good but a string of unfortunate luck ruled out some strong points finishes, the worst in France when the cars were running 2nd and 4th only for both to encounter transmission problems. However, hope can be drawn from the fact that the cars were regularly in the points, albeit the lower ones, picking up bits and pieces. For the remainder of the season, a new car has been designed in the hope of increased competetiveness and moving Whizzbanger up from a rather embarrasing last place in the standings.
* Replaced L.Concini in Belgium, Italy, America and Brazil
