Team Lucifer Neil Devany
Team Season Preview[/u]
With Neil Devany (apparent heir to the throne of the underworld) at the helm, Team Lucifer certainly bring a whole new meaning to the phrase 'driving to hell and back'...and do just that is something they intend to do. Pre-season testing has showed that this team has the potential go to the very top but the true test will come on raceday. Rumour has it in the paddock that the cars have been prone to fire related engine problems, although this has yet to be confirmed or denied.
Mid Season Report[/u]
Team Lucifer always appeared to be a team based around its number one driver, in this case Kari Helkonnen, a long-time protegé of team boss Neil Devany. Left in the shade though was Kraig Lukow, a just as equally talented British driver. Maybe it was this that spurred him to take 3 wins (and almost possibly 4, save for the spin in Bahrain), 3 front rows and 2 fastest laps in the first half of the season alone, propelling Team Lucifer up the scoreboard. More of the same has been promised for the future with an upgraded car which, it is safe to say, doesn't appear to have suffered from the fire related engine problems which many joked about pre-season.
* Replaced K.Helkonnen in Bahrain
** Disqualified in Italy
