Often called the “Brick Yard” (because originally in the early 20th century the track surface consisted of over 3 million bricks), the Indianapolis circuit is by far the fastest circuit on the calendar, with some cars reaching speeds of up to 250mph. Although the track has been resurfaced with asphalt since then (ironically, a yard of bricks was left untouched to mark the start/finish line), the layout still remains the same. Such layouts are common in other racing series but this is the only oval track in GrandPrixManager and provides the cars with a tough job. The engine is the only factor that matters here since there are no corners, just straights and flat out banked corners, giving the team with the best engine a distinct advantage and making them the favourites.
