Round 01 (22/10/06) – Surfer’s Paradise, Australia
The Surfer’s Paradise circuit will play host to the inaugural GrandPrixManager race. It is a bumpy street track that is located along the Australian shoreline and is quite unusual in nature for a street circuit. On one hand you have the long straights that flash past the beach and the huts but on the other hand you also have the slow winding turns that lead you into the city. Either way there is hardly any run off area with the barriers being so close to the track, leaving no room for error. The smallest mistake could end up with quite a large repair bill, and quite an undesirable start to the season for any team.
