Overview[/u]
With qualifying over in sunny France we can start to see the weekend developing. This circuit has always been thought of as an engine circuit and it was thought that the likes of VirginTR and Whizzbanger would run well. Whizzbanger yes, VirginTR no. What is even more interesting is that Lisa F1 have claimed a great starting line up and are looking to haul back points from their direct rivals, Team Pingu, in the championship battle. Jackson Thiery will be starting in pole for Lisa F1 meanwhile Anthony Northcutt lines up 4th. Brandon Hawn, championship leader, starts 8th. Concini is also definitely worth a mention, the Italian propelling the Whizzbanger car up into 2nd place for the race and looking strong for a great result. The same can also be said for team mate, Michael Bliss. Even though he is only starting in 9th place he is known for some great race drives from poor grid slots.
Not doing too well where PharmaOne who will start 17th and 22nd, being brought back down to earth with a bump as the team enjoyed a 3-4 finish in the previous round in Monaco. Also suffering a slump in form, quite surprisingly, VirginTR could only manage 15th and 18th on a circuit many thought would suit their powerful engine.
