Qualifying Summary[/u]
Group 1: Santo, Opet, Dubois, Callista, Thiery, Lukow
- The rain is lashing down at Imola as qualifying begins!
- Callista is coasting around horribly slowly, a problem on the car?
- Opet sets the fastest time of this session, but it all depends on the weather from now on (see Screenshot1).
Group 2: Walton, Northcutt, Concini, Cederberg, Hawn, Blanc
- The rain appears to be slightly heavier and affects the times. The best anyone can manage, Cederberg, is 2 and a half seconds off the pace (see Screenshot2).
Group 3: Mrazik, Bliss, Glaston, Dimoulakis, Okihara, Heppert
- Dimoulakis is looking fast but gets held up by Glaston and Bliss (see Screenshot3)!
- Mrazik is the fastest runner of this session, netting provisional 4th.
Group 4: Helkonnen, Adauto, Gones, Karpstein
- The rain appears to be steady, but still torrential, as Karpstein heads out (see Screenshot4).
- Adauto puts in a good effort to steal Mrazik's 4th, albeit 2 seconds off the pace.
- Opet remains unbeaten and secures, amazingly, a hat trick of pole positions! The Canadian is looking unstoppable.

Overview[/u]
- Heavy rain hits Imola for the qualifying session with plenty more forecasted for the race too.
- Opet storms to a third straight pole position for F1N Racing, an incredible effort. Manuel Santo will be taking up the other half of the front row and will be looking to boost their championship chances.
- Main title contenders, Lukow and Glaston, will start 3rd and 13th respectively. Surely the Team Lucifer driver is odds on to take the advantage? The other contenders, Dimoulakis and Hawn, will be starting in 12th and 16th and would have hoped for a better grid slot.
- Bramall are stumped by Fernando Callista. No problems were reported on the car yet he could only manage a time that was a staggering 11.517 seconds slower than the pole position! Wild speculation is floating around the paddock that Fernando is an aquaphobic.
