Qualifying Summary[/u]
Group 1: Callista, Walton, Dubois, Lukow, Santo, Opet
- Drizzle is in the air and the clouds are looking ominous.
- Regardless, Walton decides to go out on normal dry weather tyres whereas the other runners, including his team mate, are using wet weather tyres (see Screenshot1).
- The decision doesn't pay off and Walton is slow, so decides to abort the lap.
- Santo sets the fastest time! From now on, the weather will dictate who can challenge for pole (see Screenshot2).
- On the way back to the pits, Dubois catches fire! Luckily for him, he had already posted a time (see Screenshot3).
Group 2: Cederberg, Hawn, Northcutt, Qamar, Blanc, Glaston
- The clouds begin to roll in and the tail section of the track is under heavier rain.
- Cederberg looks promising but isn't quite fast enough to beat Santo.
- Northcutt, Blanc and Glaston all decide to abort their laps too as the dry tyre choice doesnt pay off either.
Group 3: Mrazik, Okihara, Bliss, Dimoulakis, Heppert, Adauto
- Mrazik and Adauto now also try the dry tyre tactic in hope of finding some dry patches on the track.
- Their gamble doesn't pay off either and the laps are considerably slower so they abort their laps too.
Group 4: Thiery, Helkonnen, Gones, Karpstein
- The rain is coming down visibly heavier now, yet Helkonnen and Karpstein still opt for dry tyres!
- Needless to say, they abort their laps also.
- Gones is held up massively by the slow Team Lucifer car of Helkonnen (see Screenshot4).
- Santo remains unbeaten and takes pole position, heading an all PharmaOne front row!

Overview[/u]
- Rain affected the session once again today with the cars first out having a slight advantage. Luckily, the heavy rain held off until after the session so the running wasn't too badly disturbed. These 'not quite wet' conditions led some drivers to believe that they would be able to set a better time on dry weather tyres then on wet weather tyres. However this plan backfired due to drizzling rain arriving for the start of the session. All of those who used dry tyres eventually aborted their laps due to the lack of pace.
- PharmaOne made the most of the conditions and locked out the front row! Santo starts on pole with the likeable Cederberg along side him.
- With regards to the championship, it's something of a showdown. F1N Racing hold a slight advantage with Opet starting in 3rd but everyone knows that Lukow can make some lightning starts (who himself has qualified 4th). This one should be interesting to watch. Both Teamo cars failed to set a time and will start 15th and 16th while Team Pingu drivers struggled in the damp conditions and will line up 9th and 13th.
- Tanvi Qamar (replacing the injured Concini) made a perfect debut by outqualifying his team mate, Michael Bliss. Hopefully he can translate this into a strong race finish for his Whizzbanger team but Bliss has been reknowned so far this season for qualifying poorly and racing brilliantly.
